MACARE' processes and uses personal information items as follows.

  When using a mobile phone as a terminal, location information is collected in the background to check the location information even when the device is not in use.

Measures to secure the stability of personal information

In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, MACARE takes the following technical/administrative and physical measures necessary to ensure stability.

• Establishment and implementation of internal management plan
  MACARE has established and implemented an internal management plan for the safe processing of personal information.
• Restriction of access to personal information
  The Company takes necessary measures to control access to personal information through granting, changing, and canceling access rights to the database system that processes personal information, and uses an intrusion prevention system to control unauthorized access from the outside.

  Users of personal information are strictly limited to users of the company that the information provider has agreed to use.
• Access control for unauthorized persons
  We have established and operated access control procedures.

Provided by third parties

The Company does not provide location information to third parties without the prior consent of the subject of personal location information. However, personal location information is provided only when the subject of personal location information directly consents and when the obligation to submit to a national organization or the like arises in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, or when an imminent danger to the life or safety of the user is confirmed and is necessary to resolve it.

Grounds for collecting, using, and verifying personal location information and the retention period of the data

The Company automatically records the data on the collection, use, and confirmation of the location information of members in the location information system based on Article 16, Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information, and retains it for 6 months to settle fees and respond to complaints.

Notification

When the Company provides personal location information to a third party designated by the user, the Company shall immediately notify the user of the recipient, the date, time, and purpose of the provision through the communication device that collected the personal location information each time. However, in the following cases, the Company shall notify the user through the communication terminal device or e-mail address specified by the user in advance, online posting, etc. If the communication terminal device that collected the personal location information does not have the function of receiving text, voice or video. If the user has requested in advance to be notified via a communication terminal device other than the communication terminal device that collected the user's personal location information, or via an e-mail address, online posting, etc.
